This vintage dye transfer print, with stunningly fresh, vibrant hues, was printed for inclusion in the portfolio "Think of Color as Form", dedicated to Cole's father, the legendary modernist Edward Weston. This portfolio is very rare, with only one other copy known to the Gallery. The included image dates range from 1983 to '88, which suggests that the prints in this portfolio were likely made in the late '80s. This print is signed and dated in pencil mount recto, with a studio stamp, copyright stamp, and title/numbering in pencil mount verso.
