This intimate floral arrangement by Ansel Adams was printed in an intermediate size to suit the characteristics of the image—promoting close observation, yet revealing extraordinary detail. This print is signed in pencil mount recto, with BMFA 11 stamp verso, indicating that this print was likely made between 1973 and '77. This print was made for and gifted to Ansel's granddaughter to celebrate her birth, from whom this print was directly acquired. Her collection stamp adorns of the reverse of the mount.
